London, UK - 11th February 2008 - The 41st Parameter announced today that William Wright, Ph.D., joined the company as Chief Scientist in November 2007.  He is responsible for leading the company's research on rule/algorithm lift to provide ongoing calibration for The 41st Parameter's Internet Fraud Management portfolio.

Dr. Wright is widely acknowledged as one of the industry's foremost experts in building heuristic and statistical systems to detect financial fraud. He comes to The 41st Parameter from RSA-Passmark, where he served as Chief Research Scientist and was instrumental in creating the company's Adaptive Authentication platform. "Fraud prevention is a moving, evolving target, which requires a significant R&D commitment to ensure our customers are protected today and tomorrow," said Founder and Chief Innovation Officer, Ori Eisen. "We are pleased to add Dr. Wright to our research team, as he has an ideal background of computer, mathematical and cognitive science that will help us further develop the Internet Fraud Management portfolio. "It's a very exciting time to join The 41st Parameter, as the company has earned the trust of many of the world's most elite banks and online merchants," said Dr. Wright. "I look forward to collaborating with our research team, customers, and fraud experts across the industry to develop more cutting-edge, adaptable Internet Fraud Management solutions for the company. The 41st Parameter has built an outstanding technical architecture, which will allow us to quickly exploit our innovations that will enable our customers to prevent significant fraud losses."
