Welconstruct selects Pindar catalogue production service

  • Welconstruct has selected Pindar's fully-integrated catalogue management system to streamline its all-inclusive equipment, health and education multiple-version catalogues.

Pindar, a total solutions provider for publishing and print from ink to internet today announced, as a part of its two-year contract win with Welconstruct Company, the selection of a fully-integrated catalogue management system to streamline Welconstruct's all-inclusive equipment, health and education multiple-version catalogues.

"We have chosen Pindar as our principal supplier for catalogue production because they have a specialist range of services that have been fine-tuned for cataloguers needs. Pindar's catalogue management services provide us with a complete streamlined solution tailored to our needs" stated Peter Steele, Managing Director at Welconstruct.

Pindar's catalogue services are designed to streamline and automate processes of catalogue production. This includes digital product photography, online image approvals and automatic entries to a content management database, where further descriptive texts and product attributes can be added. This data can then be re-purposed simply and effectively for online catalogues and to expand publishing opportunities through the print process.

The benefits for Welconstruct include the essential integrity of product data for publishing and online versions, and significantly, the further opportunity to produce multiple types of tailored print publications as and when needed. Today, the equipment, health and education multiple-version catalogues represent print ranges from 32 to 720 pages in length and volumes intended for an extensive customer base.
