VoiceAge Networks becomes Vantrix, announces Cingular win

Singapore --  Sept 12, 2006 -- VoiceAge Networks, the forerunner in mobile rich media content adaptation, announced today that it has formally changed its company name to Vantrix Corporation. The name change is accompanied by a new logo and branding campaign.

Vantrix took the opportunity to disclose that its SPOTxde Server solution has recently been selected by Cingular Wireless, the largest wireless company in the United States, with more than 57 million subscribers.

The company also divulged that it was preparing to announce a number of customer deployments in the coming days, and stated that its SPOTxde Server had recently been chosen by Tier 1 operators in Europe and Africa.

“We are at a very exciting time in the evolution of our company,” said Jean Mayrand, CEO of Vantrix. “Given our recent commercial successes and the rapidly growing requirement for our rich media content optimization platform, we wanted to reposition the name of the company to reflect our unique identity.”

The name Vantrix retains some of the company’s history while focusing on the three key pillars of reinforcing its exceptional value proposition, establishing its leadership position in the industry, while sending a fresh and positive message to its business partners.
