The new version offers out-of-the-box compatibility with Microsoft Windows Vista, .Net 2.0 and Open SSL/HTTPS, and includes a host of fresh features, including an innovative new Runtime API and enhanced database server installation support. Version 5.0 has been specifically designed to meet the demands of modern Web developers - from the bedroom programmer to corporate IT departments. Intorel's ActiveSite Compiler series provides professional web developers with an innovative tool to create offline applications and sites. It employs unique and innovative technology to compile ASP, ASP.NET and PHP material into standalone Windows applications. The compiled application runs from the local hard disk or directly from a CDROM, memory stick or any removable mass storage device, eliminating the need for the Internet connection.
