Early Years Vouchers Ltd extends functionality of industry’s only fully automated childcare voucher website

  • Autopay, Auto-authorise & Direct Debit payment facilities now available
  • Provides Parents, carers and employers with new tailored preference settings
  • Enables employers and childcarers to easily manage multi-site accounts

Manchester, UK - 19th September, 2007 - Early Years Vouchers Ltd, one of the UK's leading childcare allowance organisations, has extended the functionality of its online childcare voucher website - www.childcare-vouchers.net - the industry’s only fully-automated childcare voucher scheme that provides a paperless end-to-end process. In addition to the traditional BACS and cheque voucher payment methods, EYVL now offers online auto-pay and Direct Debit payment facilities to all employers, parents and carers. This ensures they benefit from faster voucher validation, approval and redemption times. This financial information will also be, for the first time, accessible to IFAs, accountants and other bureau operators.

Early Years Vouchers Ltd has enhanced its website to ensure that all users can customise their accounts to suit their individual needs. For example, multi-site employers can log into and centrally administer multiple accounts, as well as review staff voucher requests from different sites. Employers operating a weekly, four-weekly or monthly payroll can set their accounts to automatically complete these transactions. Carers can use the new auto-pay function so that as soon as the parent’s voucher is valid monies can be paid automatically by BACS straight into their account.

"We are always trying to improve our service. All the feedback we receive from clients is used to make our website more user-friendly and more straightforward. We want clients to be able to administer their accounts as easily as possible," commented Amanda Ward, Director of Early Years Vouchers Ltd. "The new system has extended EYVL's unique features, as well as maintained essential capabilities, such as the ability for carers, employers and their employees to register for our childcare voucher scheme entirely online and the ability of each voucher to be automatically distinguished and referenced.

"One of the main driving forces behind the enhancements to our online service is our continued participation in the Childcare Forum run by the HMRC in London. At the Forum, key people responsible for all the regulations behind the voucher schemes and other childcare schemes discuss a whole range of topics, from Tax savings to carer registration issues. This year, the Forum concluded that there is a pertinent need for more standardised processes for the administration of childcare vouchers schemes - and we are proud to say that we have this already in place!" added Amanda Ward.
