Impact launches new Leadership for Sustainable Enterprise Open Programme

  • Valuable people development offering for senior level executives across all industries
  • Programme provides the necessary tools to create a sustainable model for business

Windermere, U.K. - 20. November, 2007 - Impact, pioneers and worldwide leaders in experiential learning and people development programmes that create and lead sustainable enterprises, has launched its new Leadership for Sustainable Enterprise Open Programme for senior and C-level executives across a wide range of industries. This programme will help develop a generation of well-informed, committed leaders able to forge sustainable enterprises that operate both profitably and with enhanced social responsibility.

Impact's Sustainability Open Programme will use a unique combination of challenging experiences and carefully executed dialogue to build on personal talent and develop people individually, as well as enhance management and leadership skills for business. The aim is to create a sustained behavioural change in the individual, which will have a positive long-term effect on business practices. These new leaders will accelerate positive social change, protect and preserve environmental integrity and enhance business performance.

"Our new Leadership for Sustainable Enterprise Programme is part of our open enrolment portfolio, and is designed to address the question of leadership in relation to sustainable enterprises," commented Richard Little, Senior Consultant, Impact. "Thanks to a unique combination of challenging development programmes, powerful learning experiences and our expert facilitation in innovative team, leadership and management development programmes, we are able to provide senior level executives with the necessary tools to create behavioural change and business benefits.

"Here at Impact, we believe that actually experiencing something - a situation or a condition - gives it validation," continued Richard Little. "Our experiential learning programmes, including our new Sustainability Open Programme, take away a certain element of the unknown and replace it with skills and qualities that an individual will have tested in real situations, benefiting real people."

Candidates taking part in the new Sustainability Open Programme will receive 1:1 coaching and mentoring that will support them on the complete 'learning journey'. The programme, consisting of three modules, begins with an audit that identifies key parameters to be measured. This is followed by expertly facilitated dialogue and development of leadership capacity, an examination of critical incidents and study visits to criterion partners. Impact's facilitators then assess the final outcome of the programme and compare results against the initial audit criteria in order to determine levels of success. This detailed feedback, combined with Impact's unique experiential learning techniques, provides candidates with the necessary tools to create a sustainable model for business.
