New UK Office And Sales Appointments For 'Machinery Movers' Magazine

Such has been the success of the new UK edition of 'Machinery Movers', the specialist monthly construction & quarry equipment magazine, since its launch at the end of 2007, that a UK sales office has now been established.

The new UK facility will be headed up by David Harman, who has been appointed National Sales Manager. With over 20 years in sales and account management within the UK building and construction media, David brings extensive experience to this role.

David said, "The launch of 'Machinery Movers' magazine in the UK has provided both readers and advertisers alike with a highly targeted publication, and a clearly focused editorial approach, dedicated entirely to the construction & quarry plant and equipment sector."

Supporting David Harman with advertising sales for the UK magazine is Jeff Wood, who has worked across both weekly and monthly construction related publications.

Jeff said, "Both David and I now look forward to renewing the many acquaintances we have made during our previous involvement in the plant and machinery market."

The 'Machinery Movers UK' edition was introduced following the successful development of its Irish counterpart, 'Machinery Movers Ireland', which has firmly established itself as the No.1 publication in its field, since its launch in 2005.

Both magazines have a circulation of around 10,000 copies and provide construction & civil engineering contractors, plant hirers, quarries, demolition & recycling companies, and equipment dealers & distributors, together with local authorities and public utilities, with all the latest industry news, including information from the major construction and quarry & machinery manufacturers.

Earlier in the year the UK magazine also announced the appointment of ex 'Construction News' editor, Aaron Morby, to take over the editorial reins, whilst also contributing to the Irish edition.

'Machinery Movers' Publisher, Brian Coogan, said: "Even with the limited time since its initial launch, the progress of our UK publication has been very significant and I firmly expect it to become as successful as our market-leading 'Machinery Movers Ireland' title. Particularly now that we have David and Jeff on board to join Aaron in taking the magazine further forward, including the strengthening of its business-orientated approach."
