LawNet partners with Polymorph to develop CMS driven secure member website for its 64 law firms

  • Polymorph to implement and support interactive website for LawNet members
  • Users can share legal knowledge, best practice and expertise

UK - 1st July, 2008 - LawNet, the UK and Ireland's leading network of independent law firms, has partnered with IT solutions specialist, Polymorph, to develop, implement and support its new member website. The website will allow LawNet's 64 medium-sized law firms in the UK and Ireland to share legal knowledge, best practice and expertise. Polymorph has extended LawNet's existing IT infrastructure to increase the organisation’s pool of legal resources and deliver intuitive, feature-rich enhancements to ensure that lawyers get personalised relevant news and updates for their specialisms.

The member website will integrate new applications and system functionalities with LawNet's existing IT systems based on a Lotus Notes Content Management System (CMS). Members will be able to log into personalised pages within the site that contain the information, training and event information most relevant to their areas of expertise.

Helen Taylor, Marketing Manager at LawNet said: "Polymorph is our systems developer of choice. Its expert technical skills allow us to concentrate on providing our members with greater resources, increased practice support and business development, as well as more information on networking events and training services.

"The new system updates and personalises every member's log-in page so that they are informed about relevant news and events, including knowing exactly how many CPD hours he/she has accumulated through attendance at LawNet training events," added Helen Taylor. "At LawNet, we believe that by acting together, our members will benefit from the resources and influence that have traditionally been the preserve of only the largest law firms. Thanks to the new CMS from Polymorph and Unique Media’s web design expertise, our member website now provides our practitioners with everything they need - from buying power and access to expertise through to management resource and bespoke training. They can not only share best practice and services between each other but also expand their client offerings and become a more successful, faster-growing and profitable business."

LawNet's bespoke content management system will be hosted by Polymorph, which will enable the UK and Ireland's leading network of independent law firms to update the website content on a regular basis allowing it to offer its members improved services and efficiency, as well as real-time updates.

"Having developed LawNet’s previous website and network database, we were confident we could deliver the company's latest requirements," commented Steve Harris, Managing Director of Polymorph. "As always, Polymorph is committed to providing expert consultancy, solutions and support services to fulfil a wide range of business issues, and we are delighted to build on our existing partnership with LawNet."
