Kubota has unveiled its first new machine of 2010; the new B2420. An addition to the popular 12, 16 and 18hp B20 Series launched last year, this range-topping 24hp compact tractor delivers everything you expect from Kubota  –  a simple, user-friendly machine that is powerful, reliable and extremely durable - and all at an affordable price.

Straightforward and exceptionally nimble, the B2420 combines high power output, compact size and class leading manoeuvrability, for performance that’s unmatched. The simplicity of the B2420 further enhances its appeal as Kubota has incorporated a range of features without compromising on ease of use.   

The exceptionally compact and slimline design – measuring just one metre wide – makes the B2420 ideal for work in confined spaces.  A truly versatile machine and excellent value for money, the new B2420 appeals to a wide variety of customers, including smallholders, horticulturists and groundscare professionals alike.  

The largest model in the B20 Series, the B2420 features Kubota's renowned 24hp three cylinder E-TVCS (three vortex combustion system) diesel engine. This high performance, low emission engine offers unrivalled power and fuel economy, whilst minimising noise and vibration levels.

With four wheel drive, a maximum speed of 19.4 km/h and nine forward and three reverse gears, the operator can match the power and speed to tackle even the most demanding of tasks with ease.  

Aside from power, manoeuvrability and functionality, Kubota has also delivered on operator comfort. The B2420 features power steering, whilst the ergonomic design and simple lay out ensure maximum visibility and comfort, thus minimising operator fatigue. The B2420 incorporates a comfortable suspension seat, an easy-to-read backlit instrument panel and a full flat operator deck for ease of access, as well as a parking brake and large, angled colour coded levers guides for hassle free shifting and instant recognition. The B2420 even comes with a cup holder built into the fender!

To capitalise on the versatility of the B2420, a 615 kg lift capacity at the three point hitch enables the use of a wide variety of implements. The rear PTO has two speeds so that you can get maximum performance and efficiency.
