KUBOTA GETS SET TO HELP CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW VISITORS TO CUT DOWN MOWING TIME

'Spend less time mowing the lawn and more time enjoying your beautiful garden,' that’s the message that Kubota Tractor and Groundcare will be taking to the Chelsea Flower Show this year.

The market-leading manufacturer will be showcasing three of its most popular ride-on mowers and a sub-compact tractor on stand RHW17, all of which have been designed to help gardeners give their lawn a gold-medal winning finish in a fraction of the time.

Launched in 2010, the 18hp petrol T1880 ride-on garden mower features Kubota’s infinity mower deck which has a cutting width of over a meter wide. It is easy to drive and operate and features HST hydrostatic transmission as well as cushion ride suspension as standard. What’s more it can be switched from side discharge mode to mulching mode at the flick of a switch, thus eliminating the need to empty the grassbox.

One of Kubota’s most popular diesel models is the GR1600-II. High on performance, yet low on running costs, this efficient cut and collect machine is easy to use and gives a professional well-manicured lawn every time. Meanwhile, the 21 hp GR2100 ride-on mower features power steering, a hydraulic deck lift and Glide Steer technology which allows the machine to turn more sharply than a conventional mower, making it ideal for mowing around trees and posts. And thanks to automatic four wheel drive, it can tackle slopes with ease.

For those with large estates, paddocks and stables to maintain, Kubota will be showcasing the BX2350 sub-compact tractor, which has an extremely high power to weight ratio. As a result, it offers users the performance and versatility of a compact tractor whilst also benefiting from the agility of a ride-on mower.

Throughout the Chelsea Flower Show Kubota’s experienced staff will be on hand to advise visitors about the best model for their individual needs.

"Chelsea Flower Show is literally a platform where gardening enthusiasts and professionals come together to preview the very pinnacle of garden design for 2011. Naturally, visitors are inspired by the show gardens and then look to the exhibitors to find out how they can recreate what they’ve seen back at home," commented Dave Blackwood, Kubota Tractor and Groundcare Sales and Marketing Manager.

"We offer a wide range of ride-on mowers designed to help people create the perfect lawn finish, as well as a number of sub-compact and compact tractors to help with day-to-day tasks - basically, machinery that allows people to spend less time tending their gardens and more time enjoying them!"
