Leading high quality loading and unloading equipment specialist Thorworld Industries has launched a 'Replace With New'* deal, for longer term hirers of its highly popular mobile yardramps, through the company’s specialist RentARamp® division.

RentARamp® is Thorworld's market-leading mobile yardramp rental solution, providing customers with the option to hire from the UK's most comprehensive product range of mobile yardramps. Thorworld yardramps are specifically designed to provide fast, efficient and safe loading and unloading of vehicles and containers by forklift truck, particularly where there is no dedicated, raised loading bay area.

While renting is a popular alternative to purchasing, both for short and longer term periods, this offer is specifically designed to reward the latter customers.

For hire agreements on a minimum three year contract, Thorworld is offering the option to replace their existing rented yardramp free of charge for a brand new one, following completion of the three year period. This is conditional on a further three years contract then being agreed from the date of replacement, and is subject to any repair costs to the existing ramp beyond normal fair wear and tear.

"Customer loyalty is a vital element of our business, and the 'Replace With New' offer means that users can upgrade to the very latest models to take advantage of our on-going product development programme," explains Thorworld Industries' managing director John Meale. "Long-term rental is an increasingly popular alternative for companies who want to avoid initial capital expenditure, because costs are spread across the hire period." 

He adds that, "Thorworld mobile loading ramps are also ideal for customers who need to cover short periods; for one-off projects or, for example, as a temporary solution while work is in progress on permanent raised loading bays. With fast delivery and quick, easy installation, short-term hire through RentARamp® saves valuable time in implementing vehicle loading/unloading operations."

The 'Replace with New' initiative is complemented by other offers available to RentARamp® users. If a customer subsequently wishes to purchase a ramp while on hire, a scaled credit relative to the amount of time the ramp has been on hire can also be offset against the purchase price, subject to the rental period completed.*  

"Yardramps can present a considerable, although extremely valuable investment, so RentARamp® can provide an ideal 'try before you buy' alternative," confirms John Meale. "As a result, acquiring a yardramp becomes a hassle-free decision that is flexible as a customer’s circumstances change."

RentARamp® hire periods can range from as little as one month up to five years, with rental models available to suit different load requirements from 7,000kg to 12,000kg.

All RentARamp® customers can also take advantage of Thorworld Industries' comprehensive after-sales service, including on-site mobile yardramp training.

Thorworld container loading ramps can also be purchased outright, from an overall product offering, from 6,000kg to 15,000kg capacities, and comprising three specific ranges, including: Super Deluxe, Deluxe and Standard (heavy, medium and light duty) models, all of which have been developed by the company's in-house design engineers and manufactured using high quality materials, with up-to-the-minute production equipment and techniques.

All Thorworld ramps are CE marked and fully conform to the latest UK and European quality and safety standards and legislation. Bespoke models can also be designed to suit individual customers’ specific needs.
