BillingTree Exceeds Sales Targets in Q3 2011; Debuts Innovative New Products and Expands Sales Team to Service Increased Demand

Company tapped for eight speaking engagements within the Utility and ARM Industries, rolled out new Convenience Fee Suite, expanded sales team to include Healthcare Sales Manager and SMB Account Manager

Phoenix, Ariz. – November 16, 2011BillingTree®, one of the leading on-demand payment processors, announced continued customer growth in the third quarter and that it exceeded growth forecasts for the third consecutive quarter in 2011. In addition, the company announced the roll out of an innovative new suite of convenience fee alternatives and as a result of mounting demand from the healthcare industry, and for new products from existing customers, began recruiting for two newly created sales team roles. The company was also in high demand for content and speaking engagements throughout the quarter.

During the quarter, BillingTree began testing a newly expanded suite of convenience fee solutions, supplying alternatives for billers seeking to offset their payment processing fees called "No Fee to Biller." A second model, allowing for more effective management of fee revenue and reporting is called "Biller Keeps the Fee." Both enhanced models are currently in beta with expected general availability by year's end.

In recognition of the growing importance of electronic billing and payment processing in the current economic climate, BillingTree was in high demand for content and speaking engagements throughout the quarter. The company was invited to speak as subject matter experts at six utility industry tradeshows, including The American Gas Association Uncollectibles Workshop, Utility Web Week, Billing and Collections for Utilities, Credit and Collections for Utilities plus several hands-on workshops titled Payments 101. In addition, two ARM Industry events offered presentations by BillingTree including the CDS CollectOne User Conference and Columbia Ultimate’s Art of Success.

Recognizing greater demand and a need to service more prospective customers from within the healthcare vertical, a new Healthcare Sales Manager role was created in the third quarter and is actively being recruited for. In addition, an inside sales support position, SMB Account Manager - intended to service existing customers’ needs onboarding additional BillingTree products and services, was created and is also still seeking qualified candidates.
