StrikeAd releases video to de-mystify mobile acronyms

Michael Dewhirst, StrikeAd CTO explains the confusing world of mobile acronyms

London, UK – 6 June 2012 – The world of SDKs, tracking, apps, UDIDs, DSPs and RTB can be confusing for those who are not mobile advertising specialists. And these are just the beginning. Anyone who wants to understand the fast moving world of digital advertising to make sense of their marketing budget and run cost effective ad campaigns needs to navigate their way through a host of acronyms.

Help is at hand! StrikeAd, the New York and London based mobile advertising specialist, has released a video to explain what numerous mobile acronyms stand for and mean. The video is aimed at helping advertisers understand how to get the best from the mobile advertising services. In it, StrikeAd CTO Michael Dewhirst outlines each acronym, what it stands for and what it actually means and will do for advertisers. The just under 10-minute video is available on YouTube and will be integrated on the StrikeAd website.

"As with most technical industries, it can be daunting and confusing for someone who isn't fully familiar with the ins and outs of the mobile-advertising world," said Michael Dewhirst, CTO, StrikeAd. "This video will  hopefully clear up some of the puzzlement that many advertisers may have and outline the genuine and tangible benefits that mobile advertising brings. And for everything else – just come and talk to us!"
