Xactware Releases New Claims Estimating Software for Mobile, Online, Desktop Platforms

Cloud technology syncs assignments across computing devices to enhance claims handling

LONDON, May 21, 2013 - Xactware has released a new version of its claims estimating software, Xactimate^_®, that gives users the option to estimate on mobile, online, or desktop platforms. The innovative claims estimating solution from Xactware allows adjusters, contractors, and other repair professionals to efficiently and consistently record claims information, create loss-site diagrams, compile reinstatement costs, and generate estimate reports.

The new Xactimate is now available on a range of platforms, including as an app for iOS and AndroidTM devices, from any Internet-connected computer with a supported web browser, or as installed software on desktop and laptop computers. Estimates are stored in the Xactware Cloud so estimators can easily access their files no matter which platform they are using.

"The new Xactimate eliminates the need to rely on a single computing device and frees you to estimate however and whenever you want to," said Ryan Johnson, Xactware's assistant vice president of Xactimate. "You can begin a new estimate at the office, add additional detail on your tablet or smartphone at the loss site, and then complete the estimate online on your home computer. Xactimate mobile is available for download from the App Store^_SM or Google Play^_TM, and estimators can log in to Xactimate online at Xactimate.com. Xactimate desktop is available as a standard download.
