Renault Trucks to enhance its roadside assistance service with Cybit telematics solution

Cybit, the UK’s leading online Telematics Service Provider (TSP), has won an order for Fleetstar-Online from Renault Trucks, which offers one of the market’s biggest and most diversified range of vans and trucks. The company will install 80 units of Cybit’s Internet-based fleet and asset management solution into its 'Renault Trucks 24/24' roadside assistance service fleet, enabling real-time tracking of its 24/24 vehicles and enhancing the company’s operational efficiency through improved response times and reporting.

Fleetstar-Online will be used to identify and dispatch the nearest available 24/24 vehicle to a customer needing assistance, and will help Renault Trucks to improve service levels by keeping customers informed of the roadside assistance vehicle’s position and its estimated arrival time. Fleetstar-Online’s historical reporting functionality will also enable Renault Trucks to critically analyse responses and identify tangible areas for operational improvement.
