Leading Safe Service provider, Gunnebo Security, extends its contract for Cybit’s mapAmobile technology

Cybit has announced that Gunnebo Security, the UK’s largest service provider for safes, vaults and ATMs, is to extend its contract for the mapAmobile mobile location technology. mapAmobile provides Gunnebo Security with real-time location information on its sales and service engineers via standard mobile phone technology – ensuring the system is cost-effective. As a result, Gunnebo Security can plan engineers’ jobs more efficiently and provide customers with accurate feedback and ETAs for maintenance and emergency services such as access problems, key cutting and lock changes.

Cybit has deployed the mapAmobile service to Gunnebo Security for the last two years, and under the new contract, will continue to support the service on an on-going basis. The technology ensures that Gunnebo Security is able to locate any member of its mobile workforce at any time of the day without disrupting the activities of the engineers while they are working. It also helps ensure that Gunnebo Security can optimise its engineer resource by balancing and allocating jobs between engineers.
