Cybit launches new Data Analyser reporting suite for Fleetstar-Online

  • Enables organisations to measure mobile resource performance over extended time periods
  • Another first for Cybit – a unique tool for senior managers to compare individual fleets and/or operating bases to identify areas for improvement

Cybit, the UK's leading online Telematics Service Provider (TSP), has launched its Data Analyser reporting suite for Fleetstar-Online. Data Analyser identifies trends in data captured through Fleetstar-Online over extended time periods, allowing managers to measure trends and demonstrate year-on-year performance improvements, which can then be presented through a series of user-definable reports and graphs.

Data Analyser can be scheduled to run at regular intervals with reports emailed to a pre-defined list of recipients. Reports are available in HTML, PDF, CSV and XML formats. Data can be easily summarised by region, division or depot. As a result managers can compare mileage, speeding, stop/idle times and job completion rates across operating bases and can measure the impact that operational changes are having in the performance of their mobile resources.

"Data Analyser is an essential tool for any business that is serious about improving its operational performance over time. Managers can compare fleets, regions and depots and see just how corrective action or new practices are taking effect, allowing better focus of management resource," commented Cybit's Chief Executive Officer, Richard Horsman. "Data Analyser will also be useful for businesses that need to demonstrate overall compliance to Duty of Care and Corporate Governance obligations."

"This powerful tool clearly demonstrates Cybit’s leadership in the field of scalable telematics solutions. Combined with Cybit Consultancy Services and Fleetstar's existing comprehensive reports, businesses can now identify with precision the key areas of operational improvement, implement change with confidence and measure improvement over time,” Richard Horsman continued.

For customers taking Cybit's Telematics Enabled Fleet Insurance offer, Data Analyser will help them keep on track with meeting the risk management targets necessary to achieve the maximum 16 per cent annual profit share available through the scheme.

Cybit was recently named in the top ten of the ABI's Global Telematics Vendor Matrix, and was the highest ranked European organisation. The recognition came as the result of its innovation in technology and professional services to its customers.

Fleetstar-Online is Cybit's scalable Internet-based fleet and asset management solution that provides organisations with precisely the level of telematics functionality they require, while also ensuring an easy upgrade path so that it can evolve to meet changing business needs. Fleet vehicles are fitted with a small electronic in-vehicle-unit (IVU) which is tracked by GPS in real-time and then transmits data to Cybit's online control centre. It provides companies with a cost-effective ASP-based fleet management solution, which offers users 'anytime, anywhere' access to the system via a standard web browser.
