beCogent hosts Oscar Ceremony to celebrate the achievements of its Airdrie and Erskine contact centre staff

• Employees receive red carpet treatment and champagne reception at Glasgow’s Tiger Tiger club

• Announces winner of prestigious Employee of the Year and Overall Agent of the Year awards

beCogent, one of the UK’s leading providers of outsourced contact centre services, last week hosted an Oscar-style awards ceremony to recognise the achievements of its Airdrie and Erskine call centre staff over the past year. This is the fourth year running that beCogent has held the event, which presents a number of awards including Employee of the Year and Overall Agent of the Year. The ceremony took place at the stylish Tiger Tiger club in Glasgow city centre, where employees enjoyed red carpet treatment, a champagne reception and a full evening’s entertainment Las Vegas-style. Mystery guest George Clooney look-alike, Gary Tate, made a surprise appearance.

Awards included Telemarketer of the Year, which was awarded to Rhona Hughes, Donna Manfre from Project Management was recognised as Employee of the Year, with Overall Agent of the Year going to Jamie McLellan. JD Williams Telemarketing was named as Team of the Year and the title of Service Delivery star of the Year went to Donna Traynor.
