London, 10 June 2009 – Clash-Media, the leading Proactive Online Lead Generation specialist, has today announced the appointment of a new UK Managing Director. Kevin Rice has over 12 years experience in the Internet Marketing sector and will further strengthen Clash-Media's Management Board as it looks to consolidate its market leading position. Kevin Rice joins from EDR, a digital direct marketing agency, where he rapidly progressed from Client Services Director to Managing Director.

While at EDR, Kevin Rice was responsible for increasing company revenues and repeat business by implementing new internal structures to support key accounts more efficiently. He also held commercial responsibility for some of the company's main accounts including MBNA, LOVEFiLM and Bupa – where he extended their activities with EDR into new channels. Prior to joining EDR, Kevin Rice held senior business development positions with online marketing technology providers such as Connectus Direct and NewWorldIQ. Kevin has also founded two Internet-based companies.

"I have worked with Clash-Media on and off over the last few years and have watched as its industry profile has rapidly increased. It has been through tremendous growth over the last couple of years and now needs to reflect on that expansion and cement its position," commented Kevin Rice, UK Managing Director of Clash-Media.

"One of my main aims for the next couple of months will be to re-align Clash-Media's strong team and product offerings to gear it up for the next phase of its growth. No business can escape the economic problems right now, but in order to survive, every company needs good quality sales leads. Clash-Media's product offerings are geared towards providing companies with the best possible ROI, and its performance-based marketing techniques have huge growth potential in the current economy."

Simon Wajcenberg, CEO of Clash-Media: "The Online Lead Generation sector is certainly holding its own as it continues to grow despite the economic downturn. We have some exciting development plans coming up, both in the UK and on an international level, and with his impressive industry experience Kevin Rice will play a key role in the next stage of our development."
