Kinamik Data Integrity selected for top European technology prize

  • Barcelona based new technology company selected for Europe's most coveted technology prizes.

Barcelona January 31st 2007 - Kinamik Data Integrity S.L (Kinamik) has been selected for the European ICT  Prize that is awarded to companies for new and imaginative products and services based on information and communications technologies, or "digital technologies". The Prize is supported by the European Commission as part of its efforts to promote Europe's ICT industry and boost growth. Participation is open to candidates from 33 countries.

The Barcelona based company is part of the 70 companies selected from 450 candidates from 30 countries - an all-time record for the 13 years of the Prize.

The nomination for the Prize is an endorsement of Kinamik´s technological and business potential.

France, Germany and The Netherlands have the highest number of Nominees, with 16, 16, and 6 respectively, followed by Austria, Sweden and the UK. Kinamik is part of the only two Spanish companies selected for the Prize

Kinamik has been established last year in Barcelona and its mission is to raise the level of Digital Trust with an immediate objective of protecting existing information environments and to create opportunities for trust-based new businesses.

Like a digital surveillance camera, Kinamik's solution systematically records any type of digital information (application, logs, images, videos, sounds...) according to parameters set by the users.

It creates independent immutable audit trails, guaranteeing the highest standards of data integrity, authenticity and confidentiality. Like a digital notary, Kinamik builds tamper-evident registries of trustworthy information that are used for privacy protection, audit, regulatory compliance and computer forensic purposes.
