TRAVEL TECHNOLOGY SHOW EARLY BIRD SEMINAR DISCOUNTS - JUST TWO DAYS LEFT

  • Travel Technology Show, Earls Court 2, London, February 13th -14th, 2007

February 7th 2007 - There are just two days left to book seminar sessions for the Travel Technology Show at the reduced price of £40 (saving £10 per session on the day) and, once again, bookings are high and sessions are proving popular.

Organisers of the Travel Technology Show, which takes place from February 13th -14th at London's Earls Court 2, have also announced the final speaker line up for the sessions, securing the likes of Roberto da Re, Ed Whiting and Tom Steele.

Roberto da Re is president of Dolphin Dynamics, and will be showing delegates how to 'use technology to manage your business', which takes place on Tuesday February 13th at 15:45 GMT.

"Selling holidays is one thing, but today's travel companies need to have confidence in the technology that supports their operations," explains event director Neil Simpson. "Delegates at this session will hear how best to choose a system that is right for them from the dazzling array of options on the market; discover how mid - and back-office technology has evolved in the past year and learn from the experts how technology is being used to ensure the smooth running of many travel businesses."

Ed Whiting is product and marketing director at Comtec and Tom Steele is product director at Blue Sky Travel Systems. They will both present a session that aims to explain 'how dynamic packaging is evolving', which is scheduled for 11:15 GMT on Tuesday February 13th.

Neil Simpson explains what delegates should expect to take away from this session: "Changing consumer buying patterns means the ability to dynamic package their product. This is essential for any travel company that wants to remain competitive. But as the technology becomes established, where is it being used to best advantage? Our panel will analyse how dynamic packaging is evolving and draw out some best practice examples."

The Travel Technology Show is premiering four Zeitgeist sessions in association with Travolution. These sessions explore key issues in more depth and complexity as well as investigate the impact of the Internet on the travel industry and forecast how this is likely to evolve over the coming years.

Another first for the show this year is the Travolution Blog. "Social media and networking is really changing the way we live and do business," said Neil Simpson. "Consumer interaction through blogs, for example, is also having an impact on travel technology - specifically on leisure and business travel websites. This is why we will have a dedicated area with a bank of PCs to encourage people to blog about what they see, hear and do at the show this year. We're really looking forward to reading the results!"

Travel Technology Show seminar and Zeitgeist tickets can be bought in advance for £40 per session until 17:00 GMT on February 9th at www.traveltechnologyshow.com.

3,072 visitors attended the Travel Technology Show in 2006, an increase of 23 per cent from the previous year.
