Itim Consulting appoints Simon Puryer as Partner to lead expanding store operations division

  • Will head up team of Consultants that enable retailers such as Argos, Boots and Woolworths to adopt most effective business processes

London - 10th May, 2007 - Itim Consulting, the UK's leading brand execution consultancy, has appointed Simon Puryer as Partner to lead the company's expanding store operations division. He heads up a team of consultants that advises retailers on how to adopt the most effective business processes across their multi-channel, multi-store operations, as well as maximise their retail technology investments. Simon Puryer has been with Itim Consulting for over three years - first as a Consultant and then progressing to Principal Consultant - and his appointment follows key projects with leading retail organisations including Argos, Virgin, Boots and Woolworths.  

Simon Puryer's role at Itim Consulting involves managing key retail accounts, such as Argos, and he is responsible for the selection and integration of new retail technology into organisations, such as till systems and stock-management equipment. He is also heavily involved with retailers in a coaching capacity, offering general day-to-day guidance with a specific focus on how to manage the key stakeholders. Prior to joining Itim Consulting, Simon held various senior positions at WH Smith Plc including Business Development Manager, Business Systems Support Manager and Executive Projects Manager.
