Chelford Solutions for Microsoft wins £370,000 order from Scottish Enterprise

LONDON – 17th September, 2007 – Chelford Solutions for Microsoft, a Chelford Group company and provider of Microsoft technology and applications, has announced a £370,000 order from Scottish Enterprise, Scotland’s main economic development agency. Chelford will provide a scalable, resilient Web Content Management System for its Scottish Development International (SDI) and International Business Partnering Opportunities (IBPO) websites. The implementation will help ensure that the sites comply with usability and accessibility regulations and will support multiple languages – enabling Scottish Enterprise to achieve its primary goal of promoting the Scottish economy to the International Community.

Chelford Solutions for Microsoft won the order because it was able to provide a single source service to address all aspects of the SE SDI needs. The Chelford solution, based on the globally successful Sitecore Web Content Management System, provides SE with simplified and quicker authoring, publishing and management of web content. The company will be responsible for architecture, development, migration and testing of the web sites. Chelford will provide a 3-year hosting service together with ad-hoc services to ensure maximum impact of the new Scottish Enterprise web sites.
