Windermere, U.K. - 20th December 2007 - The pioneering training company, Impact - leaders in people development programmes to create and lead sustainable enterprises - has been named a Sunday Times Top 100 company for the third year running. This comes in a year that has seen it achieve other prestigious awards, including nPower's Impact on Society Award and the National Business Award for Corporate Social Responsibility. Impact has also been recognised by the Financial Times as one of the UK's Top 50 Best Workplaces and has received the esteemed 'Learning and Leadership for Sustainability' award from Cambridge University Programme for Industry, ahead of KPMG, SC Johnson and Lansons Communications.

The awards recognise Impact's pioneering work in developing innovative and bespoke development programmes that create sustainable models of business which allow its clients to enhance their business performance while accelerating positive social change, and protecting and preserving environmental integrity. Impact is a prime example of its own business model. Its success stems from the company creating its own new business strategies to deliver programmes specifically designed to provide powerful learning experiences which accelerate change, build high-performing teams and create inspirational leaders of the future.

"Since the company was established in 1980, we have set out to become a model of sustainable enterprise," commented David Williams, CEO at Impact. "Our corporate objective is to enable organisations to integrate business practices with a genuine desire to do good in the world - both commercially and ethically - and these awards are a positive affirmation that Impact is moving in the right direction.

"At Impact, we have a great commitment to our people and an enhanced social responsibility. The awards have given our people a huge sense of pride, satisfaction and fulfilment. I am delighted to be working with all the people at Impact. Their hard work and effort has got us to where we are today," added David Williams. "We are only at the start of our journey and with this committed team there is no reason why we cannot continue our success well into the future. I have a fantastic group of motivated people who I know are keen to take actions that make a real difference."

Impact's prestigious awards have not only led to an increasing number of people approaching the company looking to work but also to the business' own customers requesting its help in helping them achieve similar top-level recognitions. Impact is looking to replicate its success in 2008 in the UK and on a more global basis, gaining recognition for its other established US, European and Asia-Pac operations.
