  • New programme offers full-length independent films and documentaries free-of-charge
  • Debuts with IndiePix's critically-acclaimed documentary, Red Without Blue
  • Includes film clips and trailers from professional contributors including IFC films and Magnolia Pictures

New York, US - 2 April, 2008 - IndiePix, the Internet-based distributor of independent films, has today announced a partnership with Dailymotion, the world's largest independent video sharing site. The partnership coincides with the launch of Cinema Dailymotion, where film-lovers can view free-of-charge, feature-length films and documentaries directly from www.cinema.dailymotion.com/. IndiePix's controversial and critically-acclaimed documentary, Red Without Blue, is the first film to be screened on Cinema Dailymotion.

The launch of Cinema Dailymotion creates an easily accessible resource for film-lovers, which, along with feature-length films, will also include unique clips and trailers from professional contributors, including IFC films and Magnolia Pictures. Cinema Dailymotion debuts with IndiePix's Red Without Blue - a cutting edge documentary following the lives of identical twins, as one makes the transition from male to female.

"We chose to debut with IndiePix's Red Without Blue because its bold story is a perfect example of the type of unique production that film-lovers will find on Cinema Dailymotion," commented Danny Passman, Dailymotion's Senior Creative Director.

"The partnership with Cinema Dailymotion is an incredible opportunity for the independent film community as a whole and this new offering meets the demand for a place where independent film fans can enjoy full feature-length films in high-quality video," explained Bob Alexander, President of IndiePix. "We work very closely with all the filmmakers that make up the IndiePix catalogue and we've seen firsthand how hard they work. So it's incredibly rewarding to see how far independent film has come in such a short space of time and we look forward to seeing more of our films on Cinema Dailymotion."
