New Thorworld Website Provides Loads More Handling Solutions Online

The all-new website for Thorworld Industries, a leading manufacturer and supplier of loading and unloading equipment, has now gone live at www.thorworld.co.uk

The revamped site provides specifiers, buyers and users of loading bay equipment, accessories and safety aids with comprehensive information about the Thorworld's extensive range of materials handling products, together with up-to-the-minute information about recent projects and the company's continuing growth and development.

One of the key elements of the new site is its simple and easy to use search function which allows users to quickly locate individual products. Full technical specifications are provided for each main product, together with detailed technical drawings showing relevant dimensions.

The navigation and search functionality provides speedy access to information about individual projects carried out by the company, which is updated on a regular basis, and there's also a section outlining Thorworld’s comprehensive maintenance and after-sales services.

Another new feature is an extensive guide to the vitally important UK and European Standards and Directives that cover loading and unloading equipment.

There are also click-through links to materials handling trade associations as well as to relevant government bodies.

John Meale, founder and managing director of Thorworld, said: "The new site is much easier and quicker to navigate and carries more content than the previous site. We have designed it so that it effectively addresses the needs of all those who use, specify and purchase loading bay equipment."

Thorworld's new website provides a one-stop, single source for a wide range of loading and unloading equipment and loading bay accessories and safety aids, such as: dock shelters and seals; dock levellers; modular docks; dock plates and boards; dock and vehicle bumpers; wheel chocks and mobile yard ramps - available for purchase or rental on a sale or return basis - as well as the Truckloada mobile yard lift and the Dockloada scissor lift platform.

Recognised as a leader and innovator in the provision of quality engineered equipment, Thorworld is BSI registered with ISO 9002 accreditation since 1992, as well as CE mark certification, and was one of the first companies in the industry to achieve the ISO 9001:2000 international quality management standard.
