ISO Launches COA Dashboard

  • Adds dynamic reporting to ISO Claims Outcome Advisor® – immediate "drill down" to data with pie charts, graphs, instant analysis
  • Easy to use, no training required, delivers rapid ROI
London, UK – 21st January, 2009 – ISO, the UK's leading provider of next-generation personal injury claims analytic solutions, has launched COA Dashboard, a management reporting enhancement to ISO Claims Outcome Advisor (COA) that enables claims handlers to instantly drill down to detailed, up-to-date information — analysis, graphs and reports — to manage claims. The dynamic, easy-to-use graphical dashboard, which requires no training to use, is a significant addition to the existing management information reporting suite. With this new functionality, companies can manage the claims process quickly and take full advantage of the data held in the COA database to deliver fairer settlements for claimants, while providing greater insight into their claims operations.

COA Dashboard can be customised to provide different levels of access to reports, which enables handlers to manage the claims process and managers to manage the business. Previously, handlers, supervisors, and managers had to generate reports from a pre-selected range of criteria. COA Dashboard provides a huge range of data available at the touch of a button through its intuitive screen and through a variety of reports — from lists to pie charts to graphs — comparing data case by case, by lifecycle, and by region. Handlers are now more able to focus on claims while supervisors can review outstanding claims, evaluate time leakage, and prioritise outstanding work.

Joe Pendle, director of Client Services at ISO, said: "One of the key features of the new dashboard is its usability and visualisation. We can deliver it to customers without the need for training and, at the same time, provide them major cost savings. Previously, we would give a one-day training session, but the dashboard is so simple and effective that it's not necessary."

"COA Dashboard is an excellent advance from traditional management reporting methods," continued Pendle. "Insurers still face many unresolved cases that cost significant amounts, both in terms of maintaining outstanding reserves and claims processing inefficiencies. With this solution, insurers can tighten the process and reduce the number of unresolved claims. Also, with COA Dashboard, insurers can see at a glance what is outstanding and what needs to be focused on. That, in turn, encourages handlers to take responsibility for their workloads instead of relying on their managers, which can increase productivity and reduce the number of unresolved cases."
