Compliments of the season - BillingTree President presents $100,000 to two local charities

Scottsdale, Ariz. – December 20, 2010 – BillingTree, Inc, one of the nation’s leading on-demand payment processors, today announced the presentation of checks totalling $100,000 to two local charities as the result of a charity rock concert held last month.

Sara O'Meara and Yvonne Sedderson, founders of the ChildHelp Children's Center of Arizona (CCCA), received a check for $50k from Scott McCollum, President of BillingTree, the Phoenix -based payments processing company. The cash was raised by the hugely successful Rock Block Charity Rock Festival that was organized by BillingTree to support local charities. ChildHelp provides medical treatment and victim support services for abused children and their families.

BillingTree awarded a similar check for $50K to Junior Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Paula Bommarito, Executive Director of the JDRF, accompanied by Maurice Jackson, who suffers from Type 1 diabetes and his mother, received a check for $50K from Scott McCollum, President of BillingTree. The donation will help fund pioneering research into pancreatic regeneration and Maurice is just one of the local children who has benefited from JDRF research.
