MARCH 8, 2011, New York, New York... Clash Media, one of the pre-eminent performance marketing and interactive media companies, today announced significant new hires and key business objectives for 2011.
"Our 2011 goal is simple – we want to be #1 on your speed dial when you’re considering high-quality customer acquisition solutions," said Ed Bussey, the new Global CEO of Clash Media who was brought in by the company’s investors in 2010 to transform the business. "We all have solutions and we all have some level of creativity. But at the end of the day our industry only grows if transparency and accountability are taken to the next level. We intend to play a lead role in the industry in this regard, and we look to be measured by our actions and not these words."
Over the past several months Clash Media has added high integrity executives with significant industry experience. Craig Rosenfeld, a founding employee and head of Performance Marketing Sales at MediaWhiz Holdings, LLC, joined Clash Media today as Chief Sales Officer.
"I’m looking forward to the challenges of taking Clash Media to the next level," said Rosenfeld. "I’m absolutely ready to get in there and work with the team to ensure we’re meeting our clients’ objectives. That’s the only way this works and I’m excited."
In addition to Rosenfeld, Clash Media has added talent on the media, distribution and operations fronts. Industry veteran Alan Blaustein is working with the company in a senior operations capacity. Blaustein has spent the last 15 years in the Internet media and advertising space, having worked for or advised such companies as DoubleClick, Agency.com, About.com, Ford Models and many others. With Clash Media, Alan is driving the company forward while ensuring that Clash Media stays true to the tenets of its brand – Client focus, Leadership, Accountability, Superior results and Honesty (CLASH).
