BillingTree RockBlock Teams with Bikers Against Child AbuseĀ© Maricopa County Chapter for Pre REO Speedwagon Concert Charity Ride

100% of ride proceeds to benefit children who have been victims of child abuse; Registration and Donations are Tax Deductable

Phoenix, Ariz. – October 5, 2011BillingTree RockBlock™, Season For Sharing’s 2011 Kick Off charity fundraising event, announced today the addition of a pre-concert ride to benefit B.A.C.A. (Bikers Against Child Abuse) Maricopa County. The ride takes place the afternoon of November 5 and concludes at CityScape downtown Phoenix, the new venue for BillingTree RockBlock featuring REO Speedwagon, the voice of Boston, Fran Cosmo, and Rossmore, who are led by a powerhouse of movie moguls including Bill Fay whose credits range from Independence Day to the Hangover movies.

Pre-concert Ride registration is $25 per participant with registration available November 5th between 11:00 – 1:00 pm at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill at 1065 N Dobson Rd in Mesa, AZ. Pre-registration is available online at MyBillingtree.com/RockBlock with pins to the first 200 pre-registrants. The ride will include five stops, a free poker sheet, concert admission and secure parking for motorcycles at the show.

"We are excited that BillingTree RockBlock has again teamed up to support B.A.C.A. for their annual Abuse Awareness Ride," commented John Mousheghian, of Phoenix-based BillingTree’s Board of Directors. "The commitment, backing and generosity of the B.A.C.A. Maricopa County Chapter members is immeasurable and we are happy to expand our event to include raising awareness and money through the ride donations to help them continue their incredible service to our community."

B.A.C.A.’s mission is to create a safer environment for abused children and to help eliminate their fear of further abuse by including the child in their organization. B.A.C.A. members are always at the ready, and their hotline is only a phone call away, which helps empower abused children to not be afraid of the world in which they live.

They work closely with local and state officials who are already in place to help children. There is no doubt that when a group of B.A.C.A. members visit a kid’s home, it sends a clear message to all involved with the abused child that the child is part of their organization and they are prepared to lend their physical and emotional support to the child through affiliation and physical presence.
